When you come to the USA from another country you step out of where you were and into where you have come. This place, the USA is about change and if a person can't change and the person becomes static then you will have hard time here. This the one place in the world where the rubber hits the road. You have to answer for your self who you are and what you are. We have a Constitution that lets us do that. I had to deal many years ago with a static politition who was raised here. His name is Pete Para. At a political dinner the Dorthy Donnehoe Dinner to be exact he came over to the table said hello to and talked with peole at the table. He ignored Chuck and glared at me. For a longtime I thought it was me and then realized he was the one with the problem. Pete Para is a static person and his identey is cultural and he will never move beyond that. He can glad hand and lie well, he's a politition, but that night I got to see who he really was and by treating me the way he did he showed everyone at that table who he realy was and still is and always will be. Pete Para can't change and the Constitution says you are free and if you choose to remain static you can, but this counrtry won't. No matter how static a person is this country will move on,change, and grow with or with out you.The choises a person makes are his or her responsability, and everyone is responsabile for what they do. The Constitution protects that as well.
