Old and Bald in Bako
I feel old today. Out of place. A relic. Went to hear a Beatles tribute band last night and I felt way out of place. I'm old enuf to remember the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. I don't think any of the 20 and 30 somethings there ever even saw the Beatles. I'm told I look younger than I am, but, the fact is, I'm way older than most of those who say that. I'm not as old as some, but older than others. I'm old news to some, new news to others. Old............. and bald! I think I wouldn't mind being old so much, if I wasn't bald. Gee, I miss having hair on top of my head. I wear baseball caps a lot. Some people get surprised when I take it off. I hate being bald. I hate being old. I guess things could be worse - I could be old and bald in Bakersfield...... er, uh, wait... Anyway, here's a link to something I didn't think I'd EVER see: http://www.youtube.com/watc...

lol, unfortunately i have never seen the Beatles live. i am 25, even though i AM 25, i grew up with them, my father being a big fan. i feel out of place a lot of places, especially downtown, i don't fit in with all the groups, the slutty dancers at Riley's, the sad, artist's at sandrini's, the 15 year olds at jerrys pizza, the old cowboys at buck owens palace. I listen to Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Billy May, & Ray Anthony. I'm not a "Go green", no eating meat, yoga lovin, hippie either. I'm me, and I'm 25, i work at Chevron Oil @ Kern River, I'm not into diversity (as in, i don't think saying"black guy, Mexican girl or white chick" is wrong) I don't go out and get drunk and get down with people i don't know, but i don't think that's wrong if you wanna do that. I have a subscription to Playboy Mag, I have naked pin-up chicks in my room, I love the color pink, i have fake blonde hair, but i don't like lipstick, or high heels with jeans, I smoke camel #9's and drink rum & coke on occasion. The point of this pretty pointless reply is, You are you, old or young, but don't like anything define your age, for instance, if you like collecting Barbies and your 25, who cares, or if you are in love with Marion Davies & classic movies and you're not 60, its OK. =D
You aren't old, you may be bald, but so was my hawt substitute teacher in middle school. Mr Davidson. I think he was about 25 then, but i had the hots for him..... =D

so would it be as bad Ace if you were young and bald? probably not. You sense a lethal combination. If you had a lot of hair when you are old you ight feel as though you feel younger? I don't think so. old is old and bald is bald. But! shave your head and look like all the younger guys i know. might make you feel a little better and might make you fit in better? Yeah? Old? God love ya you can't change that, I know I can't, I have hair and I'm working on 48 in Dec. Just be the best Ace you can be we all love you! Just don't fake it. If you want hair, try the new products on the market , or Nuhart, or the hair plugs but in any case, try to be happy being who you are. And we all love you too Annie! posted by

It's OK Dude. Wait 20 years and you will become invisible!! It's true. People run over you in Costco's and Penny's and in the mall. No one looks you in your "dead" eyes. People run over you in the canyon. But, at least I made it this far. 76. That's the spirit.

I'm right there with Annie. Also, I would think more freedom comes with old age. So you're invisible. You get to do what you want. No one cares. Besides, you've made it up there in age, congrats. You haven't done anything crazy enough to get yourself killed. Enjoy your age. You should be so comfortable with yourself by now. And if you tend to hold back things, don't. I think old, loose canons are great. Take care man. posted by
