Douglas, Alaska hosted the world premiere in May 2003.

Cast: 2 men, 3 women

The down to earth drama is set in San Pedro, California. Walter Griffin once managed to float above the earth in a lawn chair suspended from weather balloons, achieving 15 minutes of fame and an offer from the Smithsonian for the chair. Sixteen years later, Walter is still tinkering with ideas for inventions that will help him become airborne again and has imaginary conversations with French wire walker Philippe Petit. Walter's 16-year-old son, Mikey, languishes, and his wife, Helen, dutifully supports the family as a postal worker. It is a fascinating and affecting look into a dysfunctional California family.

Produced by 'thryn

Production Dates: February 9, 10, 15, 16, & 17

[Comedy/Melodrama]-- Full Length

Cast: 21 men

This "turbulent and gutsy play" shows a group of American prisoners lodged in a German prison camp, trying to escape, to embarrass and irritate their captors. The plot revolves about the escape of an American who will face serious punishment for sabotaging a train, and his fellow prisoners who hide him. They at last learn which prisoner has been all the while a stooge for the Germans. Dominant tone of the play is lusty comedy, but this is ingeniously combined at all times with excitement and tension of the most holding sort of suspense.
