IT'S OFFICIAL! WE START SHOOTING!!!
IT IS OFFICIAL! Pre-Production meetings have concluded and we (the fantastic people on my staff and myself) have decided on a film-maker that will be making the video for my first single, "Epic!" The film company is an AWESOME group called "Stolen Films." They are a ground-breaking production company with a background in action-packed extreme sports video and now, great music videos. THEY BLEW ME AWAY with their quality work! I'm proud to have the opportunity and privilege to work with such great talent. Here's their website. http://www.stolenfilms.biz/ CHECK THEM OUT AND ADD THEM ON MYSPACE: http://www.myspace.com/405330659 We'll be shooting the video in March! LOOK FOR IT SOON, along with a new page lay-out. Most Sincerely, -BREN! myspace.com/BrenBand ReverbNation.com/BrenRocks PureVolume.com/Bren

A short while back, my manager and agent arranged for a second music video to be shot for me for promotional and marketing purposes (the same two reasons that all of your other favorite bands and musicians make music videos).

Since I wanted to give something back in the way of what I do, I insisted that it be shot in Bakersfield and the surrounding areas.

You'll be surprised to find out that it's a lot harder to get something like this accomplished in Bakersfield because of certain city ordinances that really make it difficult, economically, for movie people to shoot hear--it's something that few people are aware of that is really hurting the city of Bakersfield.

To make this a shorter story, we DID film here in Bakersfield.

Since things are starting to move along for me in a good way, I haven't been as able to get out and 'in the scene' as I would like to be.  I'm not sitting up on a pedestal looking down on a bunch of ants...NOT AT ALL!!! I grew up in this town and chose to film in Bakersfield so that people here can be in on something personal, something very few 'rockstars' do--share the benefits of that position with their community.

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

P.S.--On a side note, the song was even recorded at a local recording studio with a local audio engineer!!

This all sounds great! hope things continue to go well for you!. In the meant time  Is there anywhere i could possibly  fit in?  I've been out of work technically for a  years I've done  local TV production, stage hand grip stuff,.. I've sadly even went so far as  singed up with Talent6 for extra work.

Also can anyone tell me who did a music video back in the late 70's early 80's I think, on Bakers St. It showed the Lucky  Store  on Monterrey  near Baker It flashed on Lazo's and several  places on Bakers St. (i lived on the corner of Lincoln and Baker at the time)  This person was a great guitarist in his time I think he has since passed away possibly.
