BAKERSFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT USES EXCESSIVE FORCE

Recently, the Bakersfield Police Department (BPD) arrested a suspect. During the arrest, the BPD tasored the suspect in the face, kicked the suspect in the face, kicked the suspects teeth out, beat the suspect with their police batons, and allowed the police dog to bite the suspect several times in both legs. The BPD went way too far in the way they treated the suspect. In addition to all this, the BPD was rude to some of the innocent bystanders who saw the whole thing. The purpose of the police is to "Serve and Protect;" not beat the living hell out of the suspect who was already subdued and cooperative.
