If this proves true, say goodbye to American Indian's right to sympathy.

The link above is explaining findings that the first true American's were actually from Australia and that Asians (believed to be closely related to Native Americans) actually massacred the Australians and took over.  So this means white people were here first?  No, actually, Black people were.... hmmm...  I'm definately going to look into this further once I get a chance.   I'm not taking it for truth yet, but time will tell.

Thoughts?

* update:  I've been looking through more and more documents and, although the story varies somewhat in details, the idea of American settlers (both North and South) being of Asian decent is now being questioned.  There is evidence that is suggesting that people have migrated from Africa, Australia and even Europe, pre-bering strait period and that they did so via baot (which they've also found evidence of).  Very intriguing.

I should clarify that one of the reasons this article and a barrage of others caught my attention because it re-affirms my theory that Ive had on humanity to begin with.  My basic theory is that people take people over.  It's not isolated to white people as a lot of people would like to believe (and Im not suggesting that you are saying that, this is a very generalized statement).

On the sympathy thing:  the reason I bring that up is because in every immigration debate that comes up, somebody will inevitably throw down "Well... Native Americans!" and then BAM! Everyone has to shut up and feel guilty for something that

a.) they are not responsible for in any way
b.) is, what I feel, something that happens between humans, and isnt unique to Europeans.

If these discoveries are accurate though, then that argument, to me, becomes invalid.  Not that it would absolve the more recent of histories, but it would reveal that even those before us were responsible for a takeover, primitive or "sophisticated", and that humans take each other over and kill.  It is a sad thing, but this is why we must move beyond our more base human instincts.

Like I said though, Im not taking it as complete truth just yet.  However, I think there is some deeper truth to things that people dont always see or want to see.  I mean, how long was the earth flat for and how long was cocaine used as a local anesthetic?
