I was expecting a long night finishing some homework, but Im all caught up.  Yeah, it surprises the hell out of me too.  I know everyone is dying to know what I've been up to, so heres a brief summary.  School, work, music, and using apostrophes whenever I feel like it.  I hate work, I want a new job, preferrably playing music.   You should all convince Matt to let us play with Mento again.   Also, if anyone knows of anything interesting I can do in this town, you should really let me know.  I dont party and therefore I have nothing to do on the weekends.  Lately I've been feeling that Im not living the way I should be.  By that, I mean I need to get out and do more.  Routine is nice during school time, but I need something to break it up every once in a while at least.  Something new I guess.
Other than that, I've been thinking somebody is going to break in and kill me every night.  I wouldnt care so much, but if my girlfriend is in the room thats putting her in danger.  Haha.  I need more sleep.  Peace

My band is playing at the Dome on November 11th.  Probably our last in town for the year.  We're working on new material.  But if you make it, it will be a damn good show.  Promise.

I really like it when people assume that America is the most corrupt place on earth and that every place else is just a victim of what America has done.  Learn your history.  Yeah, America is corrupt, but chances are, you are corrupt too.  Quit talking unless you know what you are talking about!

This was a quick rant because I've been annoyed lately.

The link above is explaining findings that the first true American's were actually from Australia and that Asians (believed to be closely related to Native Americans) actually massacred the Australians and took over.  So this means white people were here first?  No, actually, Black people were.... hmmm...  I'm definately going to look into this further once I get a chance.   I'm not taking it for truth yet, but time will tell.

Thoughts?

* update:  I've been looking through more and more documents and, although the story varies somewhat in details, the idea of American settlers (both North and South) being of Asian decent is now being questioned.  There is evidence that is suggesting that people have migrated from Africa, Australia and even Europe, pre-bering strait period and that they did so via baot (which they've also found evidence of).  Very intriguing.

I write this now not as an indication of my political stance, which you probably cant guess from what I write (that's not sarcasm), but I mention it because people like to assume that the "other" political side has no legitimate arguement.  The issue is the illegal immigration thing and I think something needs to be cleared up on the "taking our jobs" arguement.

Sympathizers:  "Illegal immigrants do the jobs Americans wont do"

Nationalists: "They are taking our jobs"

Who is correct?  Both.  Its all a matter of where you are looking for the answers.
Areas such as farm labor are dominated by illegal immigrants who work very hard in a ridiculous environment to make money.  They are doing jobs the average American wont do.
However, I personally know of quite a few restauraunts that favor illegal workers for jobs that they'd rather pay less for.  I could name here (but I wont) a number of places where, aside from the meet and greet aspect of the job, all other positions are filled by illegals.  I also know of people who have applied for these jobs but have been turned down.  Therefore, illegal immigrants are being favored over citizens for jobs that the business owners feel like paying less for.

And on the taxes issue:  Some pay, some dont... it depends on where they are working.  It is first-hand knowledge in certain people I know that they're co-workers are in fact illegal, and that the majority of the money they make is shipped back to Mexico, and that their bosses don't take out taxes.

Again, this isn't me choosing a side... rather, it is far from it.  I feel that a major issue in today's society is the lack of individual thinking, or the inability of a lot of people to consider what else is going on.  Maybe it's just human nature and maybe this inability will never be changed.  In that case, I suspect that we will soon destroy our own world.

Just understand, most people don't fight for or against something if they don't have a somewhat legitimate reason.  The rest of the direction may be guided by overzealous nationalism, or bleeding heart liberalism, but in the end, they're both retarded.  That's all I'm saying.
