CubicleDweller - > Diary of a Corporate Slave -> Wake up, Wake up!
Wake up, Wake up!
It's 10 am ... In the last hour and a half that I've been in my cubicle I've been trying my hardest to stay awake.

I don't know why I'm so drowsy, I got enough sleep this weekend ... my eyes are fighting to stay open.

So far I've drank a cup of coffee, then ate a bag of popped corn and drank a room temperature Pepsi.  I'm eyelids are still heavy.

The Man and Slowpoke are chatting nearby ... Babble, Babble, Babble.

I just want to go home and sleep.

Poor thing - sending energy to you.... have you gotten up and walked around a bit?  Did you have any water?  Why do I sound like I have my mom hat on? Probably because... I do.  Ok, sending more energy...........

Thank you :)

I got up and walked around ... actually walked to the other side of the building and bugged a friend of mine.  Then we went to Starbucks on break for coffee.  I ordered a tall Pumpkin Spice Latte with an extra shot - so now I'm buzzing and the tinkle fairy keeps visiting.  When I got back from my break my boyfriend came by with another Pumpkin Spice Latte, but without the extra shot.  I knew if I drank that I wouldn't be able to sit still so I gave it to the Gerbil who is now singing "Tuna Fish, Tuna Fish" ...

Yeah, some people are so against them ... but really I just like their coffee and their blueberry coffee cake, their sandwiches are good too!  I'm not particular about my coffee ... it just has to taste good.

The Starbucks in London sucked - I had to tell them how to make a proper white chocolate mocha.  They didn't put enough syrup - it tasted more like a plain expresso.  And who wants to drink a tall expresso?  God I'd of been bouncing down the streets faster than the Double Decker busses.
