Beneath a Circus Tent...........
for the sake of those who have gathered as a mass of jobless clowns
beneath a circus tent of tender stricture,name a token anti christ and
hang him and bleed his mane. and the discontented winds of man will soon breathe his name.To the depths of the nethe river's shores, the crosseyed monkeygrinder tips his hat,as the streetwalker lays her seedy trap the businessman from acme company endorses his hired diplomat. the windows on 19th street are fogged as the pool hustlers sharpen their cues while boogie woogie bands play unheeded blues. the night moans to sweet charmagne,bending trees with it's winds so that the world may hear them sing.................. the haggard migrant worker patches his shoes, while his son the dice shooter sips his booze. miss greedy gruff polishes her stuff and asks, "did you hear about the silent death of innocence?" 3 comments from 3 users
