~*Halloween*~
I really want to find something fun to do this Halloween! Anyone know of local costume contests, ect for grown-ups? I know Cactus Valley has a costume contest but it is usually a couple weekends prior to Halloween. Any others?

Hi there!At Bakersfield Community Theatre we are having Midnight Showings of the incredibly spooky "Dark of the Moon" and starting at 11 PM each Saturday night there will be costume contests and games.... Should be a blast! posted by

Most bars around town usually have costume parties. But if you don't like the bar scene then I think that The Bakersfield Community Theatre sounds like a great alternative. If you do get a chance to check it out then stop by Player's Lounge, it is right down the street from the theater. Good luck with your search for spooky fun...
