Pinkie not Winkie
Ah the magic of medicine.  Sometimes things seem much worse than the are.  I will not lose a whole toe, just the end.  It will match the other foot.  All is good.
But while browsing the internet literature (if it can be called that) I was amazed at the fascination for toes.  Hundreds of pictures.  I will spare you the gory and gross and erotic.  Just the facts.

Thank you all.  I will keep on walking, talking and blah blah blah.  Fill in the blanks.  Thanks.

There was no Nascar race today so with a little time on my hands I decided to utilize a recipe from granddaughter. (http://hot-dish.blogspot.co... /).  I had been hankering for crab cakes.  I even ordered them in Florida, but I guess I was invisible and the waitress iggied me.  Anyway they turned out to be a Sunday dinner treat for fav lady and me.  Too rich though.  But goooooooooooooood.

Hooray! So glad that you won't lose the whole toe. (Sorry that ANY of it has to go though!) :)
