Trying to move on
Well, we were moving on when things went a little south.  After a great night at Honeybear Campground in Gold Beach, we shot an azimuth north.  Got to Coos Bay Oregon about noon and pulled up for some grits at Safeway's chuckwagon.  Suddenly a horrible noise erupted from under the hood.  With a little help from a guy at the gas station (yes, they still have to pump gas for you in Oregon, no self-service) we made it around the corner to an RV park called The Lucky Logger.  Note it is not  Lager.  Anyway, with a little help from AAA, we got the old team into a barn, and find we had a bad power steering pump.  Well, like many small towns, they had to send to Portland for the parts so we are in drydock for a while.  Not bad around here though, so we may stay a week.

Hi Pops,

Well, gotta just kick back for awhile.  Like Kindra says too, sounds like at least you and Mom are stuck in a pretty place.

Hopefully you won't have any thunderboomers to drive Goldie nuts. :)

Love you both much.  Relax and stay safe and sound.

oh man! Well, good to know that you're not letting that little set back damper your traveling spirits and you're making the best of it!

Oh well, and the beat goes on.  The greatest adventures..........  Today we got the truck back, and headed out to a state park to view the flowers.  Bad noises under the hood began again, and back to the garage.  More repairs.  More $$$$$$$$$.  But we got a loaner this time, and so we can get around a little.  Maybe parts will come tomorrow, and maybe Monday.  Hell, who cares?  We are comfortable.  We brought a case of Two Buck Chuck wine from Trader Joes, and so, who cares.
