Hey Don wasn't the reason she built on to the house from advise of a "spiritualist" to atone for her husbands sins of making arms to kill people with. Or something like that. I suspect she was scurred of dem guns he he posted by

Yes, Joe. If I remember the biography correctly, she built the house so that the spirits would become lost in it- all under the advisement of her spiritualist. She was also an incredibly smart woman who authored a number of patents, some still used today. She had a fascinating life. posted by
