New format---don't like it still

Sorry but I still don't like the new fomat.  Maybe it is still being tweeked.  But,  the same notes, remarks, hello's etc show up on the side-bar, and they seem to keep coming back at strange times.  How can you clean them all out and start over?

I agree actually. the "inbox" and the "friend's updates" ... It's too much to keep track of. I mean, I already get emails telling me I have a new blog, why do I need an inbox to clean out, too? you know?

Then when I wanna blog I have to click on my profile, THEN click on "view blog" THEN I can click on "new blog" it's too many extra steps.

BUT I'll deal with it because I loves me some bakotopia.com

If you're a "friend" of mine, you know all too well i enjoy the updates. Apart from the header reminding me of a Batman comic banner, I dig it. Not as buggy as the first one was. Buttons are better looking. and the tools on the side are pretty straightforward.

...now if we could just implement some kind of 3 post/day cap...   *cough*Dr. BLT*cough*

Twinkie - go to Open My Inbox, then Inbox Setting, there you can chose from getting your notifications sent to your email and Bako inbox, or just your Bako inbox. I have mine set to only get them sent to my Bako inbox, because yeah it was a bit tooo many notifications.

Thanks Josey, I'll see how that works for me too.

why are people jealous that Bruce posts. dude. who cares.  hes posts.  why don't you post too then.

hes not the owner of bakotopia. and if Matt doesn't makes him stop, who cares.

waaa i hear some whining.

sounds like "mrs smith, timmy is staring at me!"

I don't think they are "jealous" persay.. just annoyed. but the thing is, you can just as easily NOT CLICK ON THE BLOG if it annoys you bad enough, you know?

yes, maybe it's annoying to come in and see Dr BLT all over the page, but then if you click on "new blog posts" it takes you to all the recent blog entries so you don't overlook any because Dr. BLT bumped them off the page with his posts.

I think at this point it's less annoying, just funny that while you were "secretly annoyed" so were other people, so you share than common bond...  hence all the BLT references.

Besides, BLT has thick skin. I'm sure he can handle the friendly banter, right?
