Another shitty day in Bako!   Not Bako's fault but a visit to an Oral Surgeon took the edge off any ideas of lunch.  Oh, yeah, as we get older it's patch, patch, patch, or in this case pull, pull, pull.  I think it is too bad that a tooth crown is not as durable as the roots.  Doc numbed it OK but I thought he would get a hernia trying to pull out the tree stump.  All over but the healing.  And the check to clear the bank. (Item #1 for the office crew).  Really cold here tonight, about 22 degrees.  But we have a nice warm fire going, and a glass of wine will help ease the day.  And please...no one else tell me to have a nice day.  It's too late.

I know this is not a food blog, but I am in on "BakeSpace" blog.  A recipe the other night which I tested was really a comfort food.  Chicken, cheddar soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken stock, cajun seasoning, and a few other seasoning including garlic salt, sour cream with steamed  broccoli, etc over steamed rice.  Man, it warmed our souls.  If anyone wants the recipe let me know.  Good for left overs too.

I am really glad the family up in Chico was found and did not perish in the snow.  However, they set out to illegally cut a tree in the forest, and this was their mistake.  Sorry, but it is not legal, and they cost us taxpayers a bundle for the search and rescue.  Thankfully they werefound.  But if they had gone to their local tree lot, much flap would have been prevented.
