Let's start the day, shall we?
:: Stretch:: Ahhhh... So, I've been MIA for a bit around these here parts. I'm not really sure who else but Twinkie reads my blog, but I've been stupid busy at work. Gah! But today?? Today is Friday and I refuse to work. Maybe I'll work a little, just so that I won't be swamped come Monday but I seriously refuse to stress myself out today. Which, by the way, isn't working. You wanna know why? Well, since I decided I wasn't going to work, I decided to be productive in an alternate way and shop online for Christmas gifts. Yeah, and I didn't want to stress! WTH was I thinking!? I'm stressing now. BIG TIME! I have no idea what to get anyone. Oh and I'm forcing myself to stick to my budget this year. Every year I promise myself the same exact thing and then I go overboard, which in turn leaves me broke for the next 4-5 months. Totally not cool, man! I'm trying my best not to set foot into a store this Christmas season unless I really have to (ie. toiletries, feminine products). I know I will end up spending more money than I need to and buy myself unnecessary items just because I think it looks cute. I only have ONE really cool gift idea this year, and that is a gift for my brother. He happens to be a big time Superman fan so I decided on The Ultimate Superman DVD Collection... or whatever it's called. Yeah, I'm a good sister. He'll be ecstatic, I'm sure. I just wish I knew what to get everyone else. Anyway, I'll leave ya'll for now. I must return to my online shopping. There are only 24 days left until Christmas. AUGH! Before I forget, I got the following email forward today. Just something to think about if any of you are interested.

24 days left? I am feeling utterly unChristmas-y, even with the chill in the air. I have 24 days to catch the Christmas fever! And isn't Twinkie great, she supports all of us so lusciously! posted by

Would you hate me if I told you my husband does ALL of our Christmas shopping? He knows how much I HATE to shop. So he handles it. In fact, I think he's already done. He shops, I wrap. It's a pretty good deal! posted by

Julie: Yes, I know! 24 days left! That'll fly by like nothing! ACK! Okay, I'm stressing again. hehe... Yes, Twinkie's the best! I blog mostly for her. :) Twinkie: Of course, I wouldn't hate you. I'd ask you, "Where can I get one of those?" Hehe... My boyfriend and I get a few things together for some of our family members, but if I left things up to my honey, he'd do it ALL on the 24th and I'm not kidding! Imagine my stress then! Geez... But your deal is a pretty good deal. Lucky!! :) Shawna: You're welcome! :) I've always wanted to volunteer myself, but I never knew where to go either. I was glad my friend sent this to me. She's been collecting canned goods from her co-workers but she wanted to volunteer her time also. We're going to do it together. posted by

Yeah, after Black Friday and that weekend I think I'm doing the rest online! LUSH.com is WONDERFUL for gifts. All of Pumpkin's sisters and mom are receiving either a bath bomb or a bubble bar. They even have great products for men. There's a site called personalshopper.com - you put in the sex and age and it gives you a slew of gift ideas. :)
