Hello from Scott and Tonya. For those who missed the July 12th news story it is now on youtube under Scott Thompsett . Check out the video at left! Myself (Tonya), Ian (our Son) and Michle(my sister) went to the Teen Choice Awards SWAG party. We gave away 154 items from our website. The hair feathers and handmade pouches and Scotts handmade crosses were a hit. We had a glich with our camera so I am still editing the over 300 pictures. Hope to have some new picts and blogs soon on I need a leather bag myspace. I'm thinking about calling the Leather wrapped hair feathers "Fleathers" what do you think? Most of the objects found in nature emit stable frequencies. Each sparrow sounds basically the same (though the sparrows themselves might reconize slight differences), and the sounds made by dogs or cats do not have a great deal of variation. By contrast, the human being is able to make full use of the do,re,mi,fa,so,la,ti scale to create beautiful melodies. Wouldn't you agree that this is indeed a marvelous ability?

Ok so here is how the story goes… 12 years ago when I (Trina) was 18 I left on an adventure in my blue 80 honda civic hatchback (AKA the smurf mobile). I was headed to work at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for 6 months because they were only open 6 months out of the year. When I arrived there my adolescent mind had no idea what I was going to see was such incredible beauty that it would make me cry almost instantly.
Since this trip 12 years ago I wanted desperately to get my mother and my best friend to the North Rim to see the beautiful awesomeness it had to offer. We went up on the on June 28th. Just as I thought my mom and my best friend were in AWW! It was great to be back there after 12 years. It is most defiantly worth the 9 hour drive if you come straight from Bakersfield. I do recommend too stay in St. George and then drive over from there. Make a 3 day trip of it. Come check out our Myspace for all the pictures

We are currently back in room 111 of the Econo Lodge in St. George, Utah. We checked out of our fancy smancy hotel this morning at 11 am. It was heart breaking to leave the place where i felt so much like Julia Roberts in Pretty Women...lol. We had a spectacular visit with my Aunt and left from Salt Lake around 3pm. On our trip from St George to Salt Lake it took us 7 hours to get there when it should have only taken 4 hours but due to us never seeing snow on the mountain tops at the end of June before and our scenic drive through Zion it took us a lot longer but very joyful. We were able to find in Salt Lake red, pink, more brown, and more black leather to work with on our trip back to St. George and my mother made some of the most beautiful leather bags she has ever made. Considering red and pink leather jackets, skirts, and pants are hard to come by I don't know when we will be able to make such extraordinary bags again, but they are great...Great job Mom! We did stop once again in Beaver, Utah and still made lude jokes while having our smoke break...lol We also picked up some gifts for our husbands that they will get a kick out of.(I Love Beaver. ball caps)...lmao (This blog has pictures of these ball caps)That is so funny but if you live in a town called Beaver why not make a little fun with it. I (Trina Linn) worked at the Grand Canyon Lodge, North Rim 12 years ago and have been trying to get back to show my mother ever since. This trip tomorrow will be a trip of a life time. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is not as populated as the South Rim and in turn has the "untouched" feel to it.There is views like i have never seen before and I have traveled all over our amazing country driving trucks a long time ago and have yet to see anything more beautiful. We were asked to come to my (Trina's) Aunt Holly's wedding for June 27th in Salt lake City, Utah.My mother Tonya and my Best friend April set off for a grand adventure on June 23rd to drive to Utah. We wanted to take our time with this trip to enjoy all of the beautiful scenery we would be seeing on this long total of 11 hour drive. We decided to make a special leather bag for this most excellent trip and take pictures at all the cool places we would be heading. Tonya (my Mother) made the pouch before our first real stop of Boron, California where oddly enough we had quite the adventure...lol.It This leather bag has been a lot of neat places such as the cleanest rest stop we had ever seen with its own on site cleaning staff, Primm Nevada, St. George Utah, Zion National Park, and yes even Beaver City Utah. This trip is not even over yet. We plan on visiting The North Rim of the Grand Canyon on Sunday as well and can not wait for that. I used to work there 11 years ago at the lodge there and have been desperately trying to get back to show my Mother for years. See some dreams do come true...lol This trip has been about bonding with family and friends, gorgeous sites, beautiful Utah people, lots of tired butts from the drive, and even a couple drinks. We are currently staying in the nicest Hotel I have ever seen on our second night in Salt Lake City.This place has huge chandeliers in the valet parking court, an art gallery, a spiral staircase and red marble flooring. I guess my soon to be uncle is really trying to impress the family. I asked him if he had ever heard of a motel 6...lol. We will have to see how the next 4 days go and hopefully we will have more wonderful stories of a great adventure. Thanks for tuning in.

Since I put this under the category of Dreams and the Supernatural I will start off saying I had dreamed of Celeberties and many hugs about 6 weeks before this came to pass.
I'm a firm believer in the Power of Prayer, of Visualization, and Positive thinking.I have for many a year said "Your thoughts are your prayers."So when What the Bleep Do We Know and the Secret came out it was more validation of Edgar Cayce's readings on Thoughts become Things. In April and May I was able to show my Family how it works.  Scott was at UCLA in ICU. With Trina behind the wheel, myself, Ali, Ian,Celeste, Cory and Noah we piled in the van on a mission to Love Pop well. I took the Secret knowing that I would have a captive audience. We stoped at Castaic for a bathroom break. Tina called from home while I was outside waiting my turn. "Are you all together in the Van? I want everone to hear this together." When we got to Pops room they had just taken out his breathing tube and were ready to remove the tube going into his stomach. The nurse asked if we wanted to stay or leave the room everybody wanted to stay with Pop while they removed it. The visit lasted about a half hour. I then told the kids we were going to The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Ali asked what I would do if I saw a Jonny Depp look alike. "I'd probably crawl all over him." I said. After a few blocks in the Walk of Fame a Jack Sparrow lookalike picked me up and said to my Family "I'm taking her with me!" "No." Celeste screamed with a smile. As he put me down he wispered in my ear "I love your hair." WOW a compliment I hadn't heard one in so long it felt good I must have wished for that too. Unbeknowst to me Noah had told his mother he wanted to go to Hollywood and Ripleys Believe it or not for his birthday. The magic was manifesting right before their eyes. I sang Happy Birthday to Noah in the lobby of Ripley's. And explained to him again how his wish had come true. With the excitement of Hollywood and so much to see the younger ones were hard to control. But for the most part it was a grand adventure. The time had come to head home. Trina pushed the icon on the GPS for home. She started fallowing the route guide but begain to question it's guidance (due to past experience). I reminded her everything was in Divine order and that we could not make a wrong turn no matter what. I looked up at the street sign it read Odin. "Odin Odin Odin." I said "That word kept going over and over in my head this morning. I wonder what it means?" "GOD" Trina replied "What?" I asked. "It's a name of a God mom." "Cool" I replied. We turned onto Odin behind a yellow cab with the telophone number 222-2222!!! The awsomeness of this sign took my breath away. God was telling me that everyone in the van was in the exact right spot at the exact right time. "Imagin that Trina seven seperate entities all been exactly where they are suppose to be."  More magic. These signs are not new to me. It is how I play. They are my guides, my confirmations and gifts from God. When I spoke these words I knew not who heard them but I knew that the seeds had been planted. I was on top of the world. I knew the Lord was answering my prayers. My prayers to be a insturment of His Peace, my prayers to allow Him to speak through me, my prayers for His Love Light to flow through me and my prayers that I may Live as a positive example of how to live the Secret. About 4 weeks later we were back in Hollywood and Studio City interducing ourselves and I Need a Leather Bag.com to the celeberties at the MTV Movie Awards Gifting Party.
