The Strength of Your Soul

The strength of your soul
Seems to have broken my
Television, its screen is
history, which is fine with me

It makes me laugh to feel
Your soul's strength
Permeating my life
Even when you aren't here
Physically

I just fed your-my flowers
With some fresh water
Laced with Sierra Mist
And moved them to
My Hall Table

A Candle-Fire blazes
Between the vase and
An Angel statue, she watches
her face lit up

And I notice two flowers
Which refuse to be moved apart
Instead, they seem to be
moving closer

It makes me smile
To feel your soul's strength
As my heart heats up
Once again

My purple walls
In my front hall
Mirror the energy
of your-my flowers
And I feel peace

The strength of your soul
Invites the boldness of mine
To settle into this time

It amazes me how you write these poems in between a busy schedule!

Matt - they flow out of me, I can't help it. I sat here... and it came.  I don't think about it, I just open to it. When feelings are this rich, I just HAFTA write 'em down!  You should see my irises - they are gorgeous, I can look at them from where I am sitting.. and that's all I have to do and the words just arrive. (Most of the time!)
