Twas the night before Thanksgiving ...

and all through the house, you could smell pumpkin creme caramel cooking.

Cause I'm totally lame like that, hahah!

Tonight I planned on going to Fishlips with my BFF, but she realized she has an English paper due tomorrow!  What kind of teacher doesn't give you until Friday instead - mine all did.  Pllt!  So, instead of flying solo and awkwardly sitting around by myself, I'm home finishing up the Pumpkin Creme Caramel (aka Pumpkin Flan) that my mom requested me to bring to our Turkey Lunch tomorrow.  My jello mold ... come to think of it, should I be baking it in a jello mold from who knows when (my Nana passed them down to me) ... anyway ... my jello mold only holds 4 cups, so I made 6 individual custard cups for whoever is so lucky to taste my baking.

(Stop by in the next few days and you could be one of those lucky ones ... btw my birthday is Saturday, so feel free to shower me with love or LUSH too, hehe).

Next I will be making french bread pizza

because I'm freakin hungry and that just sounds really good right now :)  (and no, that's not from the box, I made it myself!)

And here is me with my cheesy grin (boredom brings out the camera phone mug in me):

Happy Turkey Day to each and every one of us!

Ha ha my ex knows i won't tolerate being manipulated. And yes, my lil boy was with me and it was fun even though he's a big whiner/complainer! Ha ha it give me  a chance to bug him!

Thanks Don :)  Sounds like a good spread!  My neighbor/friend is a waitress there - you'd recognize her, can't miss her - she's a pretty dark haired girl who's like over 6 foot tall!

Joe - manipulation sucks!  Definitely a fry short of a happy meal at the moment, lol!  Glad you found the 91 and the food was still out!  But all in all I bet it was great because you were with your son :)

I still remember Mento Buru telling me I mixed for them very well at KGET a few years a go when I was still working for the circle 17. Nice buncha guys.

Zachary and I went to the Condors game tonight at 7. How this came about was strange, but i  went along with it despite that fact that I was a bit confused. His mom tells me she can get us some tickets and I say OK(thinking it's sponsored by the city or something, Hmmm gee, come to find out I have to buy the tickets and wasn't sponsored  by the city. I think why did she even mention it. So she's already got him all excited that I'm taking him so I figure, OK I'll take him and it will be fine. I also find that  after this plan has been made I have to go to a late Thanksgiving meal at families house. So it's off to dinner and then the game. all and all not bad, Just strange about this how,.hmmm manipulation about the game. I will next time ask more question if this arises again. Like , You paying? What is the purpose of you ask me?,Couldn't I think of this on my own?  Then to top it off I got a text message from her last night saying" You guys should be coming to this show" (mind you "this show" was in Pismo.  My response was "oh yeah, sure,..we'll be there in a  few minutes" I think my ex has slipped a cog.  But hey we had fun Thanksgiving day! He he we got lost off the % trying to find the 91 going to Anaheim Hills. left my house at  1 didn't get there until 4pm! Luckily everyone waited for us!  OK, I'm done with my T-day  weekend.

Glad your Thanksgiving was everything you hoped it to be, and Flan too;)

Sounds really good.  Flan is good.  We had Thanksgiving Day buffet at the Double Tree Inn with two daughters.  Excellent food and about 20 desserts including flan!  I had peach cobbler with Jack Daniels sauce.  Double good.  Blessing to all.
Ps:  Beautiful cheesy grin!

Rarr, I replied to this the other day but it didn't go through I guess :)

JR, Mento Buru is definitely infectious, but even though my foot totally gets tapping, I'm way too socially awkward to get up and dance alone, lol!  That's cool they'll be at Amstoy's tonight, maybe I can get someone to go with me since it's my b-day and all!

Don't hate me ... hell yeah I'll make you some when you make it this way!

Joe, it was perfect, my mother's food is better than any restaurant and I'm so glad she makes it for lunch cause I was able to eat it all day long, I stayed at her place until almost 8 (got there at noon) just picking and eating and enjoying being with my family.

I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day too!  Remember, if you ever need a place, just let me know, we'll make a place for you at the table :)
