Drinko De Mayo!

Seconds, just seconds ago I realized how freakin dense I am.  Or maybe blonde?  No, I'll go with dense ... but I'll get back to that in a moment.

If you weren't at Fishlips last night, you missed out!  I reserved a table for 10, my best friend, a few of her friends, my sister, and some Couchsurfers joined me.  Or maybe it was just that much better after I'd had about as much beer as half my weight ... Oh the wonderful ways to drown out your single girl sorrows.

Which leads me back to being dense.  So once again I've proven my theory that I have awful luck in the dating department.  There was a guy I enjoyed spending time with, but he's a busy dude, so I figured the lack of hanging out was due to that.  I've bumped into him a couple times and each time I'm told how hot I am.  Um, thank you ... but why don't we hang out?  Hello?!  Earth to Kindra!  He has a freakin girlfriend now!

Why can't guys just tell you these things?  Instead of making excuses just give it to me straight, "Yeah, so I met this girl and we've become more serious" ... it's that easy.  My feelings won't be hurt - what hurts is having my ego bruised when I figure out what's going on myself and feel like a complete dumbass for continuing to hit on the dude.  Just let me know so I can retreat back to friend mode.

Arrgh!  Men!  Haha!  Gotta love 'em ;)

Or not.  ;P

Anon, I remember seeing that guy promote his book on some late night talk show... I honestly don't know whether I want to laugh or punch him in the face.

Yeah the funny thing about that link is  he couldn't even do it by himself it took a woman to help him write it.

Speaking of books. Here's one I found slightly amusing http://www.growyourgame.com...

This guy's got some balls! Not only did he write the book but he also shows his face!

Women are responsible for civilization as we know it.

If it weren't for women, we men would still be sitting around the campfire gnawing on bones and throwing them over our shoulders. That's all we really want to do.

But we'll do anything in our power to please a woman.....

most women are controlling crazy emotional drama queens.... if most men are lying whores. but i think that if you have that attitude that's what life you will have... Be positive, and have fun. Don't give those men the time of day. not all men are like that. If all the men you date are like that maybe that's what you look for, i mean all the men have one thing in common, you.

Hiya all.....Why is it that I learn so much more listening to all of you ladies, women, girls than I do from "the Dudes"???...I laugh at a lot of the comments and find great entertainment value in them while at the same time realizing what a complete a**hole and fake I have been(and am still capable of being)......I am thankful beyond what words can express that Kumiko can find me worth her affection and devotion.....Thanks Kindra for helping me realize how fortunate I am and I'm sorry but it has been my experience that MOST MEN ARE LIARS AND WHORES....OR INVETERATE BRAGGARTS.......Take care and guard your heart closely...............Peace............

I think men sometimes don't want to be brutally honest to keep from hurting women's feelings and I think the feeling is mutual.

Lets say for example:  Yeah yeah he thinks your hot and he says that. But lets say  you have a temper and you flip out easily about stuff. Do you think he wants to come out and tell you "look I like you but I think you have a tendency of being hateful and I "aint" into that"  Sometimes there are times to use diplomacy.  Hey I'm not saying that's the case, I don't know you like  he might. I'm just saying here.

Twinkie and  sista if he was trying to keep her on the string just "in case" he would be more approachable. Being all niiiice and overly kind.

Annie I have had much experience with the lady's. After my second wife. I damn near dated everyone in the phone book. No not like I was ho'n. I decided I'd date, and I did. A LOT! It was fun nice and casual. I let them know that as well. I wasn't going for any misconceptions. I did have a piece of advice my father gave me. If one breaks your heart, go out and get another one! Who wants to sit around all dog faced and hurt.  Haha reminds me of the Tom Petty song. (Best Thing I Ever Had I think is the name of the song)

Also dating is the "kick the tires check everything out phase" You don't want to get locked into someone that you won't like later on. Dating is for getting to know the person not just  jump into bed, or making marriage plans.  Not saying you are like that. Just was stating that as a point of interest.

Once again SamG you are correct, both ways is true.

I think it goes both ways, qwejibo :)
