Guess what I got this morning?!
A radar trailer at my end of the street! This afternoon, when I get home from work I'm going to sit and take photos of the speeders. Eee! I'm so happy! Somebody at the Bakersfield Police Department is finally listening. Don't get me wrong, I appreciated the past two efforts of a trailer at the other end of the street, but now that they have taken action for this end of the street I'm very pleased. Post note: I was watering my lawn yesterday and a black suburban with tinted windows drove past, honked, and waved out their window at me like they knew me. That was strange, I didn't recognize the man at all. 10 comments from 7 users

Yesterday I stood outside watering my lawn (which takes like an hour if you actually are weird like me and hose it by hand) ... but I amused my self by turning the setting to jet and spraying each car that speed over the limit past my house. Then I read about the McMissle. Errm, better make sure not to aim into open windows. posted by

Yeah, saw it on the north side of the street closer to Oleander. I hit 28. wooooooooo. Almost got pulled over before I hit "H" street but cleared out by the time the radarists caught up to me. No water hose for me. tee-hee.
