Absolutely worthless radar trailer.
It's gone ... after a day.  What good did that do?  Especially within 20 feet of the stop sign?

So now I've wrote the traffic division again, and I've contacted KGET.

I'm shaking my head in disbelief as I watch from my living room, car after car speed past my house.  I'm tempted to sell my house and move down to a quieter street.  I did find a cute little 3 bedroom spanish style home with a guest unit in the back for a little less than what I could get for my house.

But I love my house!  From the moment I walked into it 8 months ago, I knew it was MY house.  I have my office set up here, my 200 + business cards list this address.  It's spacious, I handpicked all the colors and carpet.  I like my little house (okay, not so little I'm told ... I guess I'm just used to living in my mom's 3000 sq ft house ... I don't realize the size of mine until I sit and think that my friend bought a new 3 bedroom home that is a little less than 500 sq ft smaller than my home).

I don't want to move, yet ... so I guess that means I have to keep fighting, and baby ... let's hope this isn't a lost cause.

Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.

It's a lost cause. Nothing is going to change the inner city atmosphere and complete disregard for well being people display on that street . What could the police do? Nothing. It's sad.

Well then NL ... as long as I'm living on this street, I'm going to fight for the lost cause.  :)

ANd there's nothing wrong with that. Besides, the city deserves to have you battling them. You're a great fighter!

We should have more police on the street.

A friend of mine sent me an email with this quote in it... I thought of you of course...

If you think you're too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito in the room.

If you speed near my street (Around Beale park) you get one of three things. Semi speeding you get a paint ball. Speeding you get the paintball filled with paint thinner. Dangerously speeding you get the pellet in the back window.  Several cars have had the paint remover ball repeatedly. For the most part, it's late at night and it's very effective. So effective they slow down and stop, look at the damage and slowly drive off. Do I feel bad? Of course! Does it help? Of course. If I'm in a bad mood, I'll start nailing the loud stereo's. The funnest part is when the person stands there looking dumb founded and tries to figure out where it's coming from, so I'll hit em again when they drive off just to be a total ass....Think I'm making this up? Drive around the park really fast, I've got a lot of time on my hands.

Hey Twinkie, I love the quote!

Anonymous ... I love you.  Please feel free to cop a squat in the dark near my house any night!
