Downtown wagon rides for Christmas shopping season

Christmas season is over :( We at Riding Down Memory Lane, had a blast!! We met some wonderful families and couples and just individuals that came up to us somewhere on the route to enjoy the horses and just kick back and relax. Sittin back in the wagon just watching all the people walking and the cars zipping by..it is nice to just sit back and slow down and see the Christmassy sites and hear the sounds, that you wouldn't see or hear from a car.

Sassy and Sally did a great job, and are sittin back relaxin for a month or two just being lazy dirty horses enjoying their time off. I have to get out there and excercise them though, can't let them get out of shape. Not good for them anymore than it is for us.

We wanted to thank everyone that made it a wonderful and successful time for Bert, me,Karen and of course Sassy and Sally. Thanks to everyone at the Fox Theater for their cooperation in working with us. Thanks to the City of Bakersfield and the Bakersfield DBA for giving us a chance to serve our city during the Christmas season.

If you missed the chance to enjoy us this year, maybe they will do it again next year, and you can come look us up. Now we are gearing up for the Wedding and Quinceanera season. Time to get the shiny sparkly show harnesses out.

If you are planning a special event in the future....check us out...we can put a 'different' 'unusual' 'excitin' spin on your event, anywhere from hay wagon, country rides for 25 people at a time...to elegant Royal Princess style Weddings and Quinceaneras. Our horses are top-of-the-line, show quality Percheron Draft Horses. Bakersfield is truely fortunate to have them here. I have been told, they are probably the biggest and most elegant team, in the SanJuaquin Valley!!
