Sorry for the delay in replying, AnnieLWhite; Vern Hoover was the president of Trout's Corporation, the parent company of the last of the original Bakersfield "Honky Tonk" nightclubs - thats right, THE LAST - and was either employed by, the owner of, or the president of Trout's for over half of his life. He was an amazing person and an indescribable friend. I miss him SO much... Thanks for asking, hope you had a great week...
