Aurgh! I KNOW! I really wanted to go but ended up working the booth at the Cinco de Mayo fair for MAS Magazine. Trying to get the word out about MAS and my book club. Did you take pictures of your first event? I hope you decide to blog about your artistic experiences! I can't wait to hear about them!

It was a tough choice, but I decided to take the extra hours at work offered to me.  So I'm leaving at 6 to drive some kids to LAX, maybe when I get back into town the party will still be going on, but that won't be until like 11:30.  I'll be at Fishlips on Cinco de Mayo! 

Showed up around 8 with the wife, didn't recognize anyone and left after a bit. Looked like a rockin time though. Didn't realize we had a talented rapper who could get a place thumpin. I guess I could have stayed and tried to make friends with people I didn't know, but I'm kinda over that. I don't have any of the friends I have today by just walking up to people and making conversation. If it happens, it happens. I'll still go out to the next event however just to show some bakotopia love!

I made it!  But rather late ... managed to make it back into town around 10:15 - rushed over to Chuey's, ordered a beer, went out to the patio ... realized I must be at the wrong place.  Yeah, I went to the Rosedale Chuey's, forgot there was another one until I checked my email on my phone, checked my memory, and made it over about 11:00.  I saw Matt and my friend Holly :)  Drank another beer and then everyone disappeared so I went home for a potpie and a good night sleep.

Whoo hoo a good time was had by all! You guys rock the hizzzzouse!

I wish I could've stayed longer, but I had to leave at 7 for my show . I was able to chat with a few Bakotopians, but it sounds like I missed most of you :( Poor Kindra, going to the wrong location!

Yeah, I have my moments ... the worst part was the friend I was dragging along with me was like, "Face it Kindra - Bakotopia is full of nerds, blogging nerds.  The party's over.  Oh wait, I bet that is the Bakotopia table (points to a table with 4 lone people drinking beer rather awkwardly)"  As he was saying this I was checking my email and was like, "Shut up!  I have the wrong place, now finish my beer dumbass I've gotta drive!"  He's just jealous cause he's not special in a good way.

lol :D  My sister said the same thing about Bakotopia blogging nerds.  I was like, what are you talking about!  She was jealous of me the whole night after Matt said, "Hi Trish!"  He recognized me before I said anything.  We had a blast!  Wait, is that too nerdy to say? haha ;)  I love that Pic, too, Kindra! 

Lisa and I are hoping to head over to Fishlips tonight with our men hehe.  Hopefully I'll see you all again!

Ya you know I WAS GOING,,I had forgot then I was gonna go. BUT,, Then an extended family emergency happened. Long story short I had to drive two kids out to earlimart because their mom went to the hospital. YUP. So that was my night. I live a WILD LIFE HUH!!!!!
