I suggest doing your taxes at Turbotax.com - seriously, it walks you completely through the process.  You can also go to where they have the forms (near that Christian food store on California and like Lennox - if you don't know what I'm talking about just tell me and I'll look it up) they have people there who will help you for free.  I know I also saw something somewhere about a group of volunteers that will walk you through your taxes but I don't remember, sorry!  I do my mom's, brother's, mine, and my friends' each year with Turbotax.

Thanks Kindra.  My taxes are a bit complicated.. enough to where my accountant, whom i've had for several years, says I owe almost $30,000 for last year.  If you think of the place you were referring to at California and Lennox, let me know!

For the life of me I still can't remember what the place is called, but I can give you directions to it ... Take California Ave to Lennox, if you are coming from Stockdale Hwy turn left on Lennox.  Turn right into the parking lot behind the big building that's on the corner (if you turn left you'd turn into the parking lot where the Taj Majal and 50's dinner is).

Go into the entrance (double doors) and look to your right, you'll see the place - the door is usually open and there is normally a sign up too.  The place is full of forms and stuff, and there are people there that can answer questions.

I hope they still operate out of there and can help you a bit.  Geez that's a lot to be owed!  Deductions, deductions, deductions!

Thanks for asking!   I just took it to an H&R Block.
