Lilian Lopez was born in Delano, California on January 17, 1980 to Felipe de Jesus Ramos and Maria Georgina Ramos completing the family by being the eighth child.  She has four brothers and three sisters.  She comes from a hard working family that has strived for the best.

Although, her sisters sing as well as herself, Lopez has decided to pursue singing and make it into a career. Without having to take any singing lessons her mother noticed her talent when she was three years of age and never thought of the possibilities to act on it. At the age of thirteen Lopez took it upon herself to join choir at Delano High School where Mr. Gutierrez (high school choir instructor) chose Lopez to be in a contest which would make it her first live performance. She sang heart out impressing the judges Lopez won a hundred dollars. Since then she has performed in many school talent shows and plays. During her time at Delano High, Lopez along with Mr. Gutierrez recorded a few songs together.

The middle of her junior year Lopez made a decision to move in with her sister Anna to finish high school at Wasco High. After graduating high school Class of ’ninety eight, Lopez continued to pursue her singing career performing shows at the Kern County Fairgrounds, Fox Theatre, Weddings, Funerals, and Sweet Sixteen’s.

Along her path she met a song writer/composer by the name of HB Barnum. Barnum opened doors for Lopez giving her the opportunity to perform live in the Nick at Night holiday special, open up for Deon Warwick, and Aretha Franklin.  Her inspiration in music is now blooming to become a professional. "This has been my dream since I can remember.  It’s been a struggle to get where I am today and have learned so much along the way and yet still have so much more to learn." says Lilian in a recent interview with Punky, one of Bakersfield's local Photographers.
