So I'm a Marketing Director/DJ for an unreleased Bakersfield radio station -a good person to get chummy with if your in a band, being in charge of all sorts of things I may have mad powers of awesomeness. There's also a bit of responsibility with that too. I have to do public relations types things. So in a Nutshell here's all the announcements I need to make to help the launch of 100.9 Radio Outlaw.

To the masses- November first or so we should be going live on 100.9 broadcasting from Bakersfield.  Its an indepently owned station targeted at the Bakersfield listeners. We don't use play lists and all that top 40 crap you hear all day over and over again. We play what our djs feel like when they feel like it. We will be broadcasting live. So if you do call in you will get a dj who is in it for the music.

To bands- If our djs like your music we can and will play it, just give us a demo disk or two and we will at least listen to it and add it to our files. We should be syndicating some of our programing and we will be streaming on-line so we may be able to get a good deal of promotion. We also like indie bands.

To all the hot babes out there- We need some calendar girls so we are holding an Outlaw Girl Contest. The entry fee is $35 and the grand prize is $500 a 40%  of the profit on all calenders, posters, and trading cards. (yes trading cards.) To enter contact me email 8 by 10s of 1 head shot and a body shot or two, Try and keep them high resolution we will scale them down as needed. Also, please no "myspace shots" We are interested in real girls not high angle artsy shots of your eyes with massive amounts of glare.  We are looking for girls of all ethnicity's, looks, ages and styles. We may be holding separate M.I.L.F. and/or Plus size contest so ladies do not hesitate to join in.

 To business owners and Bands wanting promotion- We will have advertising time available. Not much about four to six minutes and hour. Time is sold in 30 second slots for $12. We can play your radio spot or you may be able to work something out with myself or one of the other djs.
