This weekend folks!
Show runs from 10am till 5pm on Saturday, and then from 10am till 4pm on Sunday!
This is an annual event that has been going on for a long, long time. Local (and not so local as far as I know) artisans and crafters showing off (and selling) their work.
Please stop by and support this event! We need all the art in this town we can get, ya know?

Can you believe it's time for First Friday AGAIN??
Yep folks, this Friday, downtown, 19th and Eye Streets (it just dawned on me, is it "I" or Eye?), from about 5PM till ?
Last month was fantastic, it is growing and RAPIDLY! So much fun! Artisans out displaying (and selling) their wares, local radio stations, galleries and stores open late, so much to see! Oh and the horse drawn carriage rides!
Please, please come out and support this fantastic event!

This Thursday, April 17th is 3rd Thursday downtown. This event is always a lot of fun, combining everything under the sun on Chester Avenue, where the streets will be closed off to cars. There will be entertainment, a doggy parade, a farmer's market, and other vendors your's truly included!
Starts about 6pm and runs till about 9:30.

Okay, obviously I am not 100% sure on the details here, and I am waiting for the promoter to call me back, BUT . . . it IS happening! They are trying to promote an art section to the Farmer's Market from what I understand, so come support this effort! I intend to!
I will be there with my amazing jewelry (even if I do say so myself lol), I have at least one other friend who will be there with her hand made soaps.

It was a BLAST!
Artisans and crafters galore PLUS great bands playing while you shopped AND yummy food to boot! It was fantastic, and expected to be even better this fall!
For those who came and visited me it was nice to meet you, and you can come visit me again either at the art faire at the Golden State Mall this coming weekend or at my booth at the BIG Street Fair on the Third Thursday of the month.

This event is building and really becoming 'something'! It was lot's of fun, good networking, great people and even really cool animals!
A horse drawn carriage giving rides, and Frankie the Newfoundland (dog) out socializing (actually there were a lot of people with dogs, but Frankie was the biggest and most memorable for me).
Mark your calendars for next month, this is a really cool little event with art and artists, and people galore.
I just got confirmation, I will be downtown tonight for First Friday! I am really excited, I have not been out and about for a long time, too long!

I just found Bakotopia this week and I really LIKE it! Very cool!
So, I am a single Mom, I have 3 teens left at home and a menagerie of critters.
I have Mastiffs (giant breed of dog) and participate in AKC conformation events with all of them, and hopefully we will try some Rally classes as well. I also have an older Labradork who is a rescue and a complete spaz lol!
