Where to go???

Okay, *sigh* it's that time of year again. No, not tax time, and not xmas yet. My BIRTHDAY is slowly approaching!! Not sure if I'm feeling happy or sad about it. However, I did decide to have some fun this year. But, where do I go??? I soooooo miss Rockin Rodeo/Metropolis, Al Polowski's and most of all, Roxanne's. Yep, I'm aging myself right now, as I'm sure some of you are saying to yourself, "where?" hehe

Anyway, I want somewhere with loud music, either dj or band, lots of flashing lights, dancing, good drinks, and good people. I would love some '80's / Old School / House  type music. Is there anywhere like that in town? What does the club at the DoubleTree play now, on Friday nights?

Someone, please help me!!

Oh, and of course, you are ALL invited to come out and party with me!!!

Remember Nickel Beer Night at Roxanne's or Remember 80's Night at the Grizzley Bar?  Yeah, tell me if you do find a place with all that!!

I remember all those places.  I remember when Todd's was the place to be...before it became Al Polowski's.  I haven't been to the Double Tree since it was the Grizzly Bar.  It's club Odyssey now and I hear they have good dance music.   I know that Prisoners of Love plays Old School, they're occasionally at Amigo's on Saturday nights and they're good.  If you like a mix of 80's classic rock Amigo's is good on Fridays.  Check out the Eye Street section to see who's playing where, the genre is listed as well.  I'm sure there are lots of bands I don't know about.  As for the lights, you may find them where a DJ plays.  There's no room for lights at most places I've been lately.

HeHe, are we all going to age ourselves here? I don't remember nickel beer nights, yikes!  hehe  But, I used to live for $1.50 drinks on Thursdays!!  I was one of the regulars, and we would get there before 8:30pm, stay for a bit, get our hand stamped and then come back later, when everyone else got there, so we wouldn't have to pay cover, HEHE!!

I guess I'll just have to pick a place and live with it. One of these days, we'll just have to go to a bunch of different places, and see what they are like.
