I was so excited last night, about the possibility of snow, and  then nothing!!! Dry clouds,  ppfffttt.  What kind of storm comes with dry clouds??!!  UGH!! After living here for 25 years, you would think I'd be used to warm and snowless winters. But, one can dream I guess. It has happened, and will again right?? Right???

Okay now, granted, this does take place in Ireland, but come on, people are people right? Or so says that song, by whoever it was, lol. Anyway, I have come to know Hazel very well, through reading and commenting on each others blogs. Well, she has decided to end her blogging, over religion, of all things. Well, not really religion itself, but related to it. In her town, there isn't a "church" that they go to, just a fellowship, where they meet where ever. Her husband was having to lead the meetings, but it was getting very stressful for him, as he also owns a music shop. So, he told everyone they would have to have someone else lead, or they could go to meetings in Dublin, which is about 2 hours from them. Well, that's too hard for Hazel and her family to go to, so they didn't make it at all. Well, some of the other members, none of which have kids, were "worried" about them not making the meetings, and made comments, and some also made comments about her blogging. Saying that she was not coming across as very Christian. She is the sweetest person I have ever known, and her family is so great. She is a homeschooler like myself, and they do all sorts of things together. Her oldest is actually in highschool now, and is doing great, and getting excellent grades, but the two younger ones are home with her.  To me, your beliefs show through your actions, words, and the way that you live your life. You should not have to say, today, we were good Christians and did this or that. Judging others, in itself, is not Christian like, how can they say that about someone else???? UGH, I feel so bad for her, and hope to keep in touch with her, by email or snail mail. I just can't believe how rude and uncaring people can be, but yet call themselves Christians or Catholics or what ever they are. And, technically, going to church or wherever you meet isn't right either really.  We should all be following our priest or pastor or minister down the street, or sitting by the river, as Jesus did his teachings!! So there!!!
