Youngblood and nepotism
Anybody find this story about Youngblood's acquittal hilarious? "Aaron Youngblood, the son of Sheriff Donny Youngblood, was found not guilty this afternoon on charges of furnishing marijuana and possession for sale" So the Bakersfield California stated. Hmm lot of weed there for you to be helping a medical marijuana user sparky. Hmm I might be wrong but good ol Donny slammed those medical marijuana places shut didn't he? Maybe it's going to be the family biz. The motto can be: "We buy it for you, and bring it to ya" I've lived here for 46 years of my life and this stuff doesn't surprise me a bit. 9 comments from 5 users

The article that i read in today's paper said that Youngblood had been designated a primary caregiver by a medical cannabis patient and that the 7 ounces was well within the guidelines of compassionate use statutes. 7 ounces is a lot of pot. I haven't been following this case so I wonder why this went to court if he was within the law. I do see the humor in this case. This must really embarrass the sheriff. I do think that they should leave the cannabis dispensaries alone and stop raiding them. posted by

A couple of days ago Donny Youngblood was on Ralph Bailey's program on this issue. I think he was hoping Ralph was not going to the phones. It would have been embarassing had somone called and said "so your son was cutting out the middle man and selling his own. Or words to that effect. posted by

I worked with him at 23 he knows my as ex well we were a media family. Neither of us are in that business now. Moved on bigger and better, she works at BPD. I've written to Ralph a while back and he responded, Ralph has always been polite to me. He knows my niece and her boyfriend pretty well Caroline and Anthony. I spend a lot of time in places Ralph goes. posted by

I love TRBS. Unfortunately I got promoted to a position where I can't have a radio, so no more show. I've been suffering withdrawals since December! Miss it a lot. posted by

Ralph is a funny guy I agree with him on a lot of things but,..there are things I don't agree with him on. I just remember the old 23 days.
