I have been watching the news, seeing people being shut down, and seeing protesting.

What I come away with all this is something more middle of the road for me.

First I must say I would be a liar if I said I never inhaled, I have and on many occasions in my youth. I quit smoking pot in 1982. Yeah that's 25 years to you and me. To be honest I had smoked alot before I quit that day in 1982. The last I smoked was  some Humboldt  and it scared  the hell out of me and I never did anymore after that. It wasn't laced it was just a little more than I cared for. When you feel your heart is about to rip out of your chest, it's time to stop.

Now have saying all this I can get to what I really wanted to talk about. Those that are truly effected by all this, the sick the infirmed, the ones that really need this simple little weed. Personally if I was dying of cancer there is no way that  the Fed's the FDA , the Sheriff or any of the Board of Supervisors would stop me  from getting a little THC in me. This drug is for people that honestly need it. The ones that legitimately doctors prescribe it for. I also think that needs to be watched or  regulated also, so doctors don't prescribe to people that don't need it. I'm glad I don't personally know someone that  has cancer. To see their pain would so hard for me to take. I would do anything in my power to minimize  or stop their pain.

I feel as though since its illegal to  have  Medical Marijuana shops on the  Federal level that there is a lot more at stake here. Dollars, money, and alot of it to be had.  Of course the FDA won't allow this drug to be legalized because anyone can grow it and they don't have exclusive right to it. But they don't mind putting out their own kinds of medications out there. For people to use and then later be told that they may cause you to die, or develope some  sickness.  Lets face it we know all these  Pharmaceutical  companies are in the  FDA back pocket or vice versa.

I feel coming from a Christian back ground that most people  maybe even in my church wouldn't  agree with me when I say Medical Marijuana should be legalized.  Maybe a church member  that has had to watch a  family member die painfully with some illness  might think differently I would hope. It's kind of funny that way, some of my "flock" don't think Stem Cell Research is  a good option than death. Due to misinformation  or just listening to their fellow church member tell them that Stem Cell Research is all about taking unborn babies and killing them for someone else to live.  They don't realize there are so many other options than that for research. I think if these people would stop narrow minded thinking we would get some where in life. 

Let us not forget Joe protester either. It doesn't look good for your case to be down there on the street corner protesting when you're wearing your cool Tye dyes and  looking like you just rolled out of  a Dead concert, or Woodstock for that matter. Smoking your joint out on the street  You are projecting an image, and image that a lot of people are going to be judging. It also seem like you have an ulterior motive involved  and it wouldn't be the person sick and in need of a medication that would make them feel better. I think to plead this case  people want to see the infirmed , the sick the ones that need a voice.  Not someone that seems like he wants weed legalized for his own recreation

  I happened to be listening to a talk show last night I listen to quite a bit. No. it's not one of those screaming in your face you an idiot and I have to figure things out for you show.  Some might say it has a lot of conspiracy theory themes on it from time to time. Anyway, I've been hearing  some talk about what all the President has done while in office.  I already know about the Patriot Act I and II. The taking away out 4th amendment right of  Habeas Corpus (you know how they can't hold you for more than 72 hour with out charging you for something basically) Now they can hold you for as long as they want, if they THINK  you have done something they don't like.  Hmmm what else, Oh,...yeah this whole Marshal Law thing. Bush is just following along with what other Presidents have set forth in to motion. Like during the Regan Admin. He put into action some "somewhat" secret law into action. It was so that if we got all worked up and upset  if we went into Nicaragua. Clinton I think expanded on this in some way I forget how, But Bush is of course taking it to new heights in lue of the "Terror" aspect of today.  the majority of this stuff can be read on the site www.infowars.com.

  My burning question is: What the hell are they preparing to do with us? I mean we are the people! Our government is turning on us and it's a bit,.hmm well I won't say frighting for me.  I will say it's par for the course as far as some might say for biblical prophesy. Maybe they realize that we have become a nation of  people out of control? Your guess is as good as mine.

It's funny but true, there is a quote that states: Tyranny is when your government controls you. Democracy is when the government is afraid of the people.
