your album art looks great.
-lena Twelve years of Bakersfield living, 13 days away from venturing to a new city new life and i ask myself, " HAVE I SEEN ALL BAKERSFIELD HAS TO OFFER?" if someone asked me, " so what is there to do in Bakersfield?" my response would be " honey not a darn thing!" That statement is semi true. Theres downtown, on select nights. Fishlips is a great hang out, Narduccis can content me at times, just walking the streets is what Buck would say. Before i go i wanna know more, Where are the hidden gems of Bakersfield? i recently had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with Alan Antiporda [ illusive photography] & Jeff Brown [fluidity photography[ starting out near Meadows Field Airport and than ending downtown. It was a great fun experience, i am NOT a model but it was fun to be one for a day. The idea has been thrown around to squeeze one more photo shoot in before i leave and got to thinking where could we find some great places to play as a backdrop, enhance a theme or simply a great place to get some good drinks/food before/after the shoot. there has to be more to this town than i know and if not well than im content with knowing Bakersfield isnt the most boomin place to stay and wont be to heartbroken to say so long. so bakotopians whatda say? how lovely bakersfield can seem when its 70 degrees, currently: enjoying a corona listening to THE SLACKERS - LEAVE ME band i came across on myspace.[ yes im back on myspace.] its been some time since ive been on bakotopia so i thoughtd i make a post. this years halloween costume will take the win! the time has come for me, i will be saying so long Bakersfield. im moving to colorado springs and looking forward to it ever so much. COLD WEATHER, SNOW, MOUNTAINS AND SKIING. ITS A NEW LIFE. thinking: 1] new tattoo? 2] new piercing? 3] a refill for sure 4] whats for dinner? 5] who will be next to bless the cover of bakotopia =] haha 6] photo shoot coming up this saturday so excited. 7] should really go clean the mustang 8] my lap top is getting warm 9] matt munoz did you like the music? 10] damn i need a new hula hoop. does anyone know of anyone who gives piano lessons for a reasonable price and has a flexable schedule.
let me know pleeeease! -belvy patience truly is rewarding.
today i was offered to move on up in the company ive been working for since 2006. since day one i let everyone know management is where i wanted to be and well ladies and gents today is the day.
ive finally made it and am so proud of myself! i am permanently part of the management team at bath and body works. yay for me!
now if i could only find someone to celebrate with. After 5 years of being connected to myspace, i decided to go ahead and delete my profile this morning.
bitter sweet? slightly. the only real good purpose of myspace was the outlet of music, i found plenty of bands i enjoy and it was great for networking when it came to booking shows... i dislike myspace for this reason: this has become away of finding out whats good, whats new what blue in so called "friends" lives. no one picks up a phone anymore how good of friends are you if everyone knows your dirt...
you wanna be friends call me. =]
so i say bon voyage myspace.
