You know, I heard something that really bothered me earlier. Someone was going around saying that "Dj's that use turntables is cool, but who want's to dance to music when all you hear is a bunch of scraching and beat juggling". First of all i'm not gonna dis anybody who dj's using cd players, but I am gonna dis those who use cd's and talk sh!t about us who use turntables and think their better. Let me see, Are there any cd dj's on the radio?, In most clubs, Who's the DJ?, are any of the top DJ's in the world on cd's? Don't get me wrong the cd turntables by pioneer are pretty cool, and a lot of producers use them. But know matter what everybody prefers turntables. People should dj because it's fun, because you like to see people have a good time. I love hauling my equipment around it's fun, it gives you a work out. I use a program called "SERATO". You use mp3's on digital vinyl's. The music is transfered from your laptop to the vinyl and is used the same way as if I were using the regular vinyl that everyone is used to, and I still bring regular vinyl with just because. If your djing using cd's to make some quick money, much respect to you cause everybody has to feed their family. But most people do it for the love of music and to entertain people, and hauling your equipment around is all part of the fun.
