Interview with quintessential Buck Owens Studios engineer, Jim Shaw goes underground
I've never interviewed a friendlier, more hospitable interviewee than Bakersfield's own Jim Shaw, of the Buckaroos, quintessential recording engineer during some of the most productive days to come out of the history of the Buck Owens Studios. Jim Shaw not only plays great keyboards. He managed Buck Owens and the Buckaroos for many years (and still manages the Buckaroos), plays keyboard for the Buckaroos, and has been involved in producing some of the greatest recordings by Buck and others. A few years back, I had the pleasure of interviewing him and that interview was published in various publications. Now the interview has gone underground. If you missed it the first time around, you can discover it for the first time. If you caught it then, you can re-visit it at the all-new Bakersfield Sound Underground blog site now, right here: Remember, if you're not going underground, you're not going anywhere! 0 comments from 0 users
