Your Own Personal Jesus: Reach out! Touch faith! Tell your conversion story here.
I have more questions than answers today, and my questions have to do with faith, and, more specifically, Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus is a personal Jesus that you can actually talk with on a daily basis?  Do you believe that Jesus is the son of the living God?  Do you believe he was simply a great teacher or philosopher?  Do you believe in a historical Jesus?

Have you heard Johnny Cash's cover of the Depeche Mode classic?  Which one do you prefer?

Personal Jesus?  Have you received Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior?  If so, tell your story.  If not, share what you believe or do not believe about Jesus.  Reach out! Touch faith!

I like your version better than both Depeche Mode's and Johnny Cash's.

I am strongly leaned agains the idea that Jesus was a philosopher who was following a number of Buddhist philosophies and spreading them in his area.  A large number of what Jesus was preaching was spoken 500 years prior (much of which was nearly verbatim) by the Buddha.  Plus geographical proximity and the economic system of Mesopotamia at the time would have permitted Jesus to have been exposed to and have ventured off into Buddhist territories.  Explains the missing years I feel.

There is a lot of contradictory information out there about Jesus.  Sometimes it gets very confusing.  The best way of getting to know Jesus is to have a personal relationship with him.
