NBC's Tim Russert - RIP
Location:
30 Rockefeller Plaza,
New York, NY 10112
Another loss for the media community. 'Meet The Press' was one of my favorite shows. Russert's analysis and moderating on the show will be missed. Damn... 4 comments from 3 users

I heard this all day Matt. It's so sad being a former NBC affiliate person here locally I know that this family is grieving. I remember picking up early feeds of Meet the press and always seeing Tim. He recently was on the talk show circuit talking about his book talking about the relationship he had with his father. Tim was just a likable moderator you couldn't help but like him. I was deeply saddened by hearing of his death. If you are over 45 please get checked for heart disease. The bout my sister recently opened my eyes and made me admit my mom's side of the family has heart disease. I've know this for some time but didn't want to admit it to myself. Now that i have insurance I will get a virtual imaging of my heart EKG's and either things to ensure my health not just for my self but for my son. He's only 11 and doesn't need his father ti keel over dead with something preventable. Tim we all will miss you very much posted by

Man! If my wife and I were in town on sundays it was Eggs & Potatoes with Meet the Press. He's the only reason we woke up before 11 on sundays. Though no one is perfect in death, he attempted and succeeded in being one of the most fair, hardworking, political journalist. posted by

He had something most political moderators don't have these days, heart. He loved his work so much that that's where they found him when he passed away. He had a passion for what he did and it showed. He had a tender heart. He spoke so lovely about his father. posted by
