Oh man for a second I thought they were closing forever!!! Why only 25 days?

Maybe they need to remove some ancient funk! Every business day is precious, 25 days is long enough!

Maybe they'll clean their seats during that time. They're always sticky.

If those seats could talk....Ayayayayayyy! :-P

So many great Guthrie's memories of after band practice parties, and....I plead the 5th on the rest.

This is frightening.

I am just getting over when the Padre bar (Towne Casino) closed. At least I got a memento from there.

The funk and character is what makes the place. Clean up and some refurbishing is in order but if it turns into a fern bar or something you can find in any strip mall can the fall of humanity be far behind?

One of my best friends is a regular there. Hopefully he doesn't have to work tonight! (He just might have to call in sick if he does!)

I don't visit bars much myself, but I'll have to visit this one tonight.

Brian, remember the girl on the swing?  And I had my hair(s) cut by Bobby Hidalgo for years.  And I loved the chicken wings in the cafe.  But, Maybe some of those things will come back.
