I wrote the blog, kinda as a joke, mainly cus I put an add my self about wanting to join a band. I recieved emails , calls from at least 10 diffrent people that they had a band and needed a guitar player and to this date only one has even sounded like they are serious. And none of them even heard me play. sometimes these adds people place are humourus in that they ask some werid stuff . like what is Americana , Roots Rock,? I do want to be in a band and I probably will piss off alot of prospective bands but sorry I had to do it. I wasn't kidding about the fact that Merle Haggard , Buck Owens, Cornelio Reyna and Ramon Ayala, Mana, The Beatles of course CCR, Stones, SRV, BB KIng, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, were some of my musical Influences. I did meet Buck Ownes and he seemed like a nice man. I am a big fan of the Bakersfield sound he help create. Tino ... the guy that wants to start a band. or even join a band .

You can always count on people misinterpreting your comments & statements.

Sometimes it's intentional, & others are just because, they haven't lived your life & experiences, so it's impossible for EVERYONE to get the exact intention the first time out. That's all cool, though. The ones that irritate me are the ones that immediately turn into personal attacks. I've been assaulted, had a gun in my face, Jumped by 6 cowards that couldn't take me on by themselves, etc.... Just because I refused to be a sheep & swallow statements from less than reliable sources. 

 Everybody has the right to their opinion, but , why can't we have different points of view, & accept that we're not all exactly the same. We Just have different backgrounds & experiences that's shaped our opinions.

 It's hard for me because I've lived a diverse life thus far, & outside of many local scenes. I've been lucky to have found life, rich with human treasures the world over. So, I see things in all shapes & colors, so consequently I "clash" with many, who see things in Black & White, or Yes or No. You see, It's not fun or entertaining to really delve into the Matrix of where things originate & how they got that way. It's always easier to stay on the surface, & speak in absolutes. Unfortunately, it almost always turns into personal attacks, & since I'm a flawed Human, & I also believe in "an Eye for an Eye" I'll engage in the vacuous exchange in hoping people realize what they're doing is pointless, & two can engage in name calling to no end. You know, we can exchange ideas without the said discourse. It just takes honesty, openness, rather than pride.

The Ironic thing is, most people that know me, think of me as a wuss, until I get pissed. 

Whatever.

I wish you the best of luck in hooking up with cats you can play with.  I might play this Sunday at a major venue. I've been asked to Guest spot for 3 performances. I'm probably going to do it since it's only 4 songs & they're willing to accommodate me because of my health issues. Boy, I hope the monitor guy has his rig down, there's nothing worse than doing a gig when you can't here yourself on a big reverberant stage !!!

Anyway, I'm sorry to have digressed so much, but, try not to let it bother you too much. Hopefully, you'll find some guys to jam with.

I think you are a cool dude and not a wuss or anything like that. of course i am not one of those guys looking for a fight . I know what you mean about bad sound most of the shows I have played were with bands that didnt have good sound so I am used to not hearing my self when I play ha ha ha . I am used to memmorizing the play list and como dicen en espanol "Ha Dale Con Ganas" ha ha ha , any way bro good luck this weekend hope everything sounds good.

I'm not sure we're on the same page...... maybe.

In other words, I think there's nothing offensive about your blog... at least to me.

There's always a chance that someone will take offense, though.  I was just commenting on my experiences, & how people frequently take offense where no malice was intended. I'm all about enjoying people's stories, experiences, & just generally sharing, in a constructive manner.  That's what I meant. I sincerely hope you didn't think I was being judgmental too, or about you.

  That's another one of my flaws, I rarely seem to find the right words to express myself in a short brief way, I always seem to use too many words & people seem to get a different meaning than the one I intended. Sorry, if I wasn't clear.

I also think you're a cool dude, & I hope you continue to pursue what makes you happy. I hope this clears up any misstatements I did not articulate well. Take Care, & I'm still down for setting up your bass if you wish.
