Blogging Changed My Life

Do you ever feel like that? Things happen in your everyday life and you can't wait to write about it? Sometimes you even start writing the blog in your mind?

Or if you're like me, you keep a notebook in your purse just in case?

*Especially when it has to do with conversations because my memory is soooo bad.

It also changes those around you. My friends are always asking me when they do something embarrasing, "OK NORMA, this better not end up on your blog."

Or the opposite...

I had something hilarious happen this weekend with my friend Teen Barbie and as we're laughing soooooo hard that snot is coming out of our noses and tears are running down our eyes, we're crossing our legs so we don't pee ourselves, and we can barely breathe in between squeals of laughter.... she gulps and very almost inaudibly says, "OhMYGod, Norma, you HAVE to blog this!"

*giggles*

Oh dear...sometimes I wonder if what I do or say now isn't influenced by having a blog.

hahahah... yeah whereas before a conversation at home would go like this:

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING DUMBASS?

it now goes like this:

OH HONEY, NO. DON'T DO THAT PLEASE. HERE LET ME HELP. OK NOW, HOLD THAT POSE SO I CAN TAKE A PICTURE FOR MY BLOGGY.

hahahahahah oK OK just kidding. Sorta.

I wrote a blog once, but the internet forgot to send me a check for it, so I'm not writing again until that gets squared away...

Blogging changed my life because I've met really cool people through it. But yes, I love it! I love reading other people's lives stories and sharing mine. So what happened that your friend wanted you to blog? Are you going to?

posted by twinkie on Sep 18, 2007 at 04:05 PM

No. I'm not. I repeated the story to a few people and they looked at me like I was a dumbass. I think it must be a location joke. You know, as in "you had to be there."

INSTEAD I think I might start vlogging. ha. I'll start with a reinactment of what happened. Maybe I'll even hire a HOT, skinny YOUNGER actress to play the role of Twinkie. ha. It might get me more readers.

although, daydreamer I will say this...

It was TOTALLY an "I Love Lucy" episode.

It involved an overflowing toilet, two girls which shall remain nameless, and a lot of giggling and gagging.

Twinkie...your one of a million. I mean, one in a million! Hehe...I just heard that the other day and thought it was funny as hell. Most people will miss the "of" part and don't realize until later that I called them "ordinary". I have really enjoyed reading your thoughts. It's like literary sitcom/horror movie/drama/suspense thriller. Never a dull moment. Thanks for writing such wonderful stories. VIVA LA TWINKSTER!

usually no one is interested in my blogs, because they are different and not the usual for bakotopians.

The Chicana Book Club...Yeah, I don't think I am going to have time for pleasure reading for some time. I am taking two classes for my Teaching Credential, and I just started my new job as a 6th Grade Resource Teacher at Emerson Middle School. So, I have no real social life at the current time. All of my free time is dedicated to my honey.  ***

I just realized the "Ground Rules" for posting comments. I never read them before. Kind of funny.
