twinkie - > Kick Off Your Shoes And Stay A While -> It's all fun and games until somebody blows up.
It's all fun and games until somebody blows up.

It's all fun and games until somebody blows up. Then it's negligence on the police department/FBI/airport security. etc etc. (insert your own authorities name/brand here).

Troopers arrested a woman wearing what appeared to be a bomb. She said it was art and the cops overreacted. Oh, and that they are paranoid.

Tell that to the people of the Oklahoma city bombing, or the recent Boston scare, or the kids killed at colleges accross campuses because authorities didn't "see the signs" and act accordingly.

Call me crazy or paranoid but if I see someone walking around with a white circuit board on their chest over a black hooded sweatshirt and nine flashing lights while hanging on to Play-Doh, I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's a bomb, if that's ok with you.

Plus the wording on the back of the black hoody was a little cryptic.

She was in an Airport. Shes lucky to not have been shot by the police. She needs 3 years in jail. Stupid kid causing problems. She just screwed herself.

I agree. You can't mess around like that nowadays. What's that saying the Bakersfield Police lives by? SHOOT NOW ASK QUESTIONS LATER?

wouldnt have been surprised if they had blown her away. what kind of art was that anyways? art of destruction and mayhem? there is a time and place for that....and obviously an airport post 9/11 is not one of them

I'd like to ask her, what I ask my daughter when she makes a retarded decision to just do what she wants ... "Was it worth it?"  UGH!  I'm glad she didn't "freak out" like the tasered kid - otherwise she'd totally be in the morgue.

Hey Ann she screwed herself? really? is she a hermaphrodite? OK that was  bad.

eh I think she simply should have mentioned she had that crap on when she came in , i understand it was a "project" Seems the authorities had a cool head, that's good. If they would have shot a bomb wearing suspect, hmmm hard to say what might happen, if they had a hand held detonator.  I think they handled it well.

Its not a project. She knew it was going to cause problems. You are entitled to your own opinions of course even how retarded i feel they are. WHERE DO THEY DRAW THE LINE? when it comes to United States safety.

Why do people feel "cool" to do crap like that, they need to get a life.

Well it was silly for her not to inform anyone and secondly it was  billed as a class project, as i heard it from a  conservative news station;O!

Bottom line, she should have had the common sense to not wear any sort of device that resembled a bomb. It's not like the girl is an idiot--clearly she's intelligent. She should have known better, and she definitely is lucky that she isn't dead right now.

Regardless of whether or not it was a "project", she wasn't at the airport for school. She was there to pick up her boyfriend. To walk into an airport with a suspicious looking device plastered to your shirt with what turned out to be play-dough but you meant it to look like a detonator? Stupid. STUPID. Explain to me why she couldn't change into it later. She knew exactly what she was doing, and she just wanted a reaction. I hope that they don't just give her a slap on the wrist.

I agree Lisslo, she just wanted a reaction. Well, she sure got it.
