Green vs McCain
Something came out on the news the other day. I forget what. Whatever it was, Nana said, "Look Mr. Twinkie, i's for your wife. It's Democratic news!" He looked at me with this confused/shocked look on his face and said, "Babe???? Is this for you? Are YOU a Democrat?" I said, "HELLLLL NO! I"m no Democrat. BUT I love Obama!" He said, "WHY?" I said, "I like McCain because of his tax incentives for those of us who pay for health insuarance. BUT they don't equal to the care of the environment. Did you know that when it comes to "green issues" he typically votes for 'BIG_BUSINESS' before he votes for the better of earth/univierse?" "it's clear that tonight we have reached a major milestone on this journey. We have won an absolute majority of all the delegates chosen by the people in this Democratic primary process. From the beginning, this journey wasn't about me or the other candidates. It was about a simple choice -- will we continue down the same road with the same leadership that has failed us for so long, or will we take a different path? Too many of us have been disappointed by politics and politicians more times than you can count. We've seen promises broken and good ideas drowned in a sea of influence, point-scoring, and petty bickering that has consumed Washington. Yet, in spite of all the doubt and disappointment -- or perhaps because of it -- people have stood for change. Unfortunately, our opponents in the other party continue to embrace yesterday's policies and they will continue to employ yesterday's tactics -- they will try to change the subject, and they will play on fears and divisions to distract us from what matters to you and your future. But those tactics will not work in this election. They won't work because you won't let them. Not this time. Not this year. Annie-- are you aware that Ron Paul is for legalizing marijuana and for pulling ALL the troops out of Iraq IMMEDIATELY ? Both of those things work for me, but they seem to go against your stated philosophy.... ( just checking...) posted by

yes, i support the troops to the end. those feelings having nothing do do with the war. go back and read. Sometimes war IS necessary and war isn't a game of candy land, war is rough and horrible, but when the government/media wont let them do what they need to do there's no point in losing men.... I'm not a hippie and have this thinking "MAKE PEACE" you cant with some people, religion is too Strong over there, this man is being put to death for disagreeing with the government, do u think you will be able to "TALK" to them, hell no. and Barrack Obama is stupid. Um Annie? Yes you did support the war that was the OTHER reason you were out there. I support the troops, why? They are our children. But I NEVER from the beginning supported the war. They lied to get the troops in there anyway. And hippies? haha there aren't anymore REAL hippies left. makes me think of Jaz McKay, afraid some hippie will steal his magnetic bumper sticker haha Hater! You knew exactly what I meant Dizz and you know it. Do you hear about Hippies by name (in print, or on the news)? I mean are they a movement still popularized with days of old in today's society, yes they are still around of course, but not active or at least not like before? Do they still make the news protesting the war? I wouldn't call those people hippies, they are just the average person that isn't happy with the war. And yes I know old hippies, grew up around them. They for the most part did co-op. Not all but most. Please I beg, I urge you be as active here as you wish I wouldn't stand in your way. I may not agree with everything you say. But I'm entitled not to. After all it is a free country and free press and freedom of speech. PERFECTO,....I think my facts are correcto. Can;t have Peace without LOVE, I still LOVE YA Dizzy! And yes I too am sorry for whatever this whole thing was. hehe |
