People dont think do they?!
OK Your at a bus stop. There are kids in your van and your a day care operator and so you have some kids in the van. Its two adults and so you both decide to get out of the van..HOW STUPID IS THAT THOUGHT? You leave some babies all alone in the van WHILE ITS RUNNING! SO what happens? You guessed it. Someone steals the van. There are people who are just fresh out of jail or Prison at the bus stop. SO I am glad the kids are ok and both women got arrested.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From Channel 23 news. BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A Bakersfield day care provider and her daughter have been arrested after police said they left four young children outside in a van that a man then stole with the children inside.Police said Joyce Lilly and her daughter, Carla Littlejohn, left four kids in a running van at the Greyhound bus station on 18th Street while they went inside.While Lilly and Littlejohn were inside the station, a man jumped in the van and drove away from the station. Police said one of the kids became so terrified she jumped from the moving van and suffered some scrapes.Police found the van a few blocks away with children inside and unharmed.Lilly and Littlejohn both face child endangerment charges.Police are still looking for a 50-year-old black man who they said jumped in the van and drove it. He’s about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bakersfield Police Department.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Then this link wont work but its MORE STUPID PEOPLE. OK Your in Delano and Mcfarland right. SOOOO you ALLEGEDLY kidnap someone and want 60,000 dollars. GOD DAM. THEN your allegedly selling drugs.YOUNG AND STUPID http://www.bakersfield.com/... 6 comments from 5 users

Hrm ... my daughter is 9, I've left her in the car with the dog cause she didn't want to run in for one reason or another to a store ... but I do lock the doors and close the windows - and if it's hot out then the windows go down, and I take the keys - or I leave the car running with the air on, and she locks all the doors. Not like this happens all the time, but I have done this - just like my mom did with my siblings and I once we were old enough to sit alone for 15 minutes by ourselves and not knock the car out of gear or something stupid. These women made a poor choice by leaving the keys in the ignition and not locking the doors ... if they had done so it would have been a completely different situation. I'll justify their decision (other than leaving the keys and not locking the door - can't justify that) with what they were probably thinking "We're just running in for a few minutes, the building is one big window, we can keep an eye on the kids through it" Here's a story ... once my daughter was visiting her dad. Her half sister's mom took them to the bank and decided to leave them outside in the car because her half sister was sleeping (she was an infant at the time, my daughter was 6 or 7) ... It was one of the hottest days of the year and she'd left them with just the windows down - my daughter came home and told me her sister had woken up and began crying and was soaking in sweat. The mom was still gone after 15 minutes - so what does my little girl do? She pulls her baby sister out of her carseat, locks up the car, and marches into the bank with her sister and loudly informed the mom that it was hot outside and you don't leave kids in the car without air and you don't leave kids for a long time. posted by

They BOTH got out of the car? DUUUUUH! *Here's a thought... how 'bout one of you get out while the other one of you STAY IN THE CAR with the children.
