Facebook's 30 Reasons a Girl Should Call It A Night
Most of you probably know what Facebook is... if you don't it's alot like MySpace, but in my opinion is alot better. It recently opened up to everyone. You used to have to have a school affiliated e-mail address to register. It places you in networks according to your e-mail, interests, location, etc. Only people in these networks can view your profile unless you add them as a friend. Facebook also has groups you can join (again... very similar to myspace.)
One group in particular is called 30 Reasons a Girl Should Call It a Night. Keep in mind MOST people on Facebook are college students. The name of the group pretty much defines the nature of the comments, photos, and videos you will see when you view the group profile. This is girls partying, falling into trash cans, peeing on sidewalks, and being drunk and beligerent. There was recently a Dr. Phil episode that dedicated an hour of public television to this group. Dr. Phil was appalled, and there were two young women on the show who had completely different opinions about the group. One argued it was all for fun, and none of the girls in the group should have their character judged by what they post. The other girl argued it was embarrassing for young women all over the country to have material like this for public eye. Personally, I think the group is hillarious. While I would never post a drunk picture of myself, I find entertainment in the photos. There are over four thousand you can look at. I'm a college student. Let's face it... the average college student has had those nights. It's common knowledge to post at your own risk online. Check out the group if you can... http://www.facebook.com/gro...
... and if you can't enjoy it for the entertainment that it is... don't look. 1 comments from 1 users
