Greetings Soulful People, We hope your summer is going well so far! We write you with some big news today being that Soulajar has been selected as Finalists in a major music competition! We are in the running for the opening slot for an August performance at The House of Blues in Hollywood as part of the 'Does Your Barista Rock?' contest hosted by Starbucks and its record label, HearMusic. Soulajar's drummer, Brian Boozer, is an employee at the Bakersfield-Marketplace Starbucks location. Hundreds of submissions were received, but were narrowed down to 10 finalists from the greater Los Angeles area (which Bakersfield is a part of). We need your help!
