 I will soon begin a new journey in my life, but my roots will always be in Bakersfield. I will be leaving this fair city, and moving to another soon. I am hoping to make a new start not just physically, but emotionally as I transtition myself into this new world. I am going to be doing the same things that I am now, some call me a slacker, others call me a hippie! But whatever I do will be centered around my art, and my new love of writing. I take pride in what I am doing, even though I don't think I paint that good. I am learning to be a better artist, just as each day I am striving to be a better writer.           I hope to meet new people when I move to my destination, and join some book clubs with my daughter. I am currently reading a fascinating book called the Echoes of Torment written by Kevin Helmold. He is a fireman residing in Chicago, and has written this fine book and it can be purchased on Amazon.
