I watch with amazement the buzz around the pope's visit to the USA. I don't get it myself ...after all isn't he just another human being like me and you. Why do people treat the pope like he is closer to God then say the guy you sit next to at church. Because to me they are equal. If the Pope was going to visit Bakersfield would you flock to go see him?
