Are you sure you want to report the following content as a violation?
 I appeal to my fellow musicians who know more about recording audio then me. Here's the skinny: 1 XLR microphone needs to plug into the 1/8" input on my mac.   Now here's the FAT: The microphone is low-impedance. The input is high-impedance. Got it all to connect through a series of adapters but the volume is incredibly low. Plus, it looks like crap sticking out the side of the laptop. Don't want to spend more the $40 on a solution, and I've already tried a "Lightsnake." Crappy crappy.   I'm trying to keep it simple because it's just to record interviews out "in the field" and simple acoustic songs. Any suggestions?
