Its May which means its that time of the year where all us Natives get together for our family reunion.  My grandma was born on Tejon Reservation (before it became tejon ranch). She never really talked about it til a few years ago. We did some genealogy research with my grandma and found out we have a lot of relatives in the area that were also from "the rez" It was really interesting to see all the cousins we got overnight! Anyways, every 3rd weekend in May we meet up at Tejon Ranch and have a family potluck/reunion thing which is a lot of fun. We didn’t go last year since our grandma passed away. This year we as a family decided to go.  I don’t know what it is but every time im at the Ranch (I still call it the rez cuz that’s what it is to our family) I have this weird feeling. I cant really explain what it is..maybe the connection I have to the place. my grandmas parents are still buried up there maybe that’s what it is. Anyways...
